Puerto Rico Restoration Trip

Hi:

I'm going to Puerto Rico Thanksgiving night until December 9th. 

I just came back from helping the flood victims in Houston, TX that was a company funded trip thru a church. I'm hoping to do the same in Tao Baja, Puerto Rico. This was initially going to be a vacation, but, now will be mostly a helping trip.

I have already purchased my flight and the first two nights hotel of the trip. I'm not looking to recoup that cost.

The money donated will be used directly to help residence in the area (or other areas if not needed in Tao Baja) to clean, de-mold their homes. Possibly remove trees or other impediments.

Other than that, I have asked an old friend to come out an assist from Pennsylvania. The money would assist in covering his airfare. In addition, any tools needed: brooms, mops, shovels, hoses, etc. would be purchased.

I will have a complete accounting posted for all moneys disbursed. This is a grass-roots, front line endeavor.

Lastly, money seems to be a much needed commodity. I will give out some money and have an accounting of that as well. It will be the last on the list of disbursements.

I will need the money by the end of October so I can plan the scope of my efforts.

I hope you will see this as a good thing and realize that this is solely for the benefit of a very impoverished people who have been dealt a one-two punch between both the bankruptcy and the recent hurricanes.
