Funeral services for Jose Eligio Chavarria

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jose Eligio Chavarria.

The viewing will be held at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn, on Sunday, October 2nd between 2 pm - 8 pm.

Eligio was recovering from a heart procedure and due to unforeseen complications, he is now at rest and in the hands of our Father. Eligio touched the lives of so many people in the community and he will be deeply missed.

Many of you reached out asking how to help the family during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as they navigate this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask, if you can, to donate funds towards the funeral service, as we hope to carry out all of Eligio’s final wishes. If funds exceed the suggested goal, the family has agreed to donate the proceeds to Cursillos in Christianity (Cursillos de Cristiandad) to aid with the betterment of the community.

Eligio estuvo recuperándose de un procedimiento cardíaco y debido a complicaciones imprevistas, ahora está en reposo y en las manos de nuestro Señor. Eligio tocó las vidas de muchas personas en la comunidad y será profundamente extrañado.

Muchos de ustedes se acercaron para preguntar cómo poder ayudar a la familia durante este tiempo de dificultad - sepan que su amabilidad es muy apreciada mientras navegan por este momento desgarrador. Les pedimos, si pueden, que donen fondos para el servicio funerario, ya que esperamos cumplir todos los deseos finales de Eligio. Si los fondos exceden la meta sugerida, la familia ha acordado donar las ganancias a Cursillos de Cristiandad para ayudar con el mejoramiento de la comunidad.
