Provide Clean Water for Gomba District

My name is Margret Namaganda and I am the Co-founder of ZAMAC Super Woman Foundation a local NGO in Uganda. We are working to improve the living conditions of people in the rural areas of Gomba District by providing clean and safe water for domestic consumption.

The only water source around is shared with animals and people making it not suitable for human consumption. Many children have died of waterborne diseases due to the use of this dirty water source. The water source is very isolated and to reach it one has to pass through bushes and gardens which puts the girl child at risk of rape and abduction for ritual sacrifices.

The water source is 4 kilometres away from most of its users so one has to walk 8kms to and fro.

It is upon that background therefore that i wish to submit my request for partnership with GoFundMe to help in the provision of 2 Boreholes in this area.
