Protect Nikolai from Life-Threatening Allergies

I'm Nikolai and I'm a disabled trans veteran living with my partner, sister-in-law and step kid.

I have many conditions, the main ones being Ehlers Danlos, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, POTS, Chronic migraines and MCAS.

I'm also severely allergic to cats - epipen level of allergic. Despite this, my partner is adopting one.

When exposed to cat dander, my eyes and throat swell up, and I get hives, and my nose turns into a waterfall. I can't breathe, my eyes swell shut, and it's a very scary and unpleasant experience.

A hypoallergenic cat wasn't considered because they wanted a cat that gets along with dogs, since they have two.

Not my house, so I have no say. So I'm in need of help protecting myself as much as I can.

I've basically been told to take care of my needs myself. I am disabled and can't get work, so I need help getting some items to try to mitigate the damage as much as possible.

Anything extra will go towards a moving out fund.

I'm waiting on an ALJ hearing for my disability, and should I get approved, I'll be using my backpay to move out.

But for now, all I can do is try to barricade my room and try to weather the storm until I am able to move out.
