Hello to everyone. My name is A. Rose Young and I live in Chicago, Illinois. It saddens me to do this but I had to put my pride aside because I am in need of help.
Some of you may know my personal story and for those of you that don't, you may have known someone with the same struggles.
In the past 3 years , I have had 5 surgeries due to stage 4 colon cancer. They {my doctors} removed quite a bit of colon and part of my stomach. Several surgeries took place after that. In order to keep a long story short, as of May 2018, the cancer came back and this time it was in my liver. I was devastated. You may know by now, but yes they removed part of my liver. 2 weeks after, I was released from the hospital, they did another scan and found 2 more spots. I became extremely ill but it was at that time I told myself I am going to win this fight.
Due to my illness, I fell behind with my property taxes. In order to keep my home I must have $3600 to pay my property taxes as soon as possible. I received a letter from the Assessor's office stating; my home will go up for tax sales in November 2018, which will cost me even more money. I've struggle to do this on my own but due to the fact that I'm on disability; it barely pays other bills and I can't work. So here I am today asking for your help to save my home. It would mean the world to me and I would be extremely grateful. Anything you can help me with at this time will be greatly appreciated.
