My name is Martina Mapa and I am currently a 2nd year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at UT Health San Antonio. I have been blessed with an opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic to provide physical therapy services between June 2-9, 2019 alongside Medical and Physician Assistant students as well as faculty from our University. God has opened many doors and has been faithful in my life that I am honored to be part of the Project Hispaniola team to travel and give back to a community that is lacking in medical resources. I am fundraising for $1,000 for (travel, food, accommodation for 1 week) and $600 for items to be donated to the communities we will be serving. I am very thankful for the love and support you have shown me during my journey in PT school, please consider continuing to support me through a financial donation. If not, uplift the team in prayer for travelling mercies and for God to use us to touch lives during our stay there. If you have any questions regarding this project, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your generosity.https://www.texashumanities.org/project-hispaniola
