ProchoiceNigeria's Abortion Documentary

Women in Nigeria are not allowed to fully exercise their reproductive rights, abortion is illegal in Nigeria unless when carried out to save a woman's life. In 2012, there were 1.2 million induced abortions carried out. Unsafe abortions are a large contributor to maternal mortality deaths in Nigeria, with  Nigeria having one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world. This documentary will be exploring different realities faced by women in Nigeria trying to access reproductive services. We are planing to shoot in December, please donate! Thank you.
