Rebuild Pride Tower & Community Education

Love will always win. Let's show the world that love is greater than hate, that our community supports and embraces diversity and inclusion.  It's important to remind us all we are all human. We all deserve love, we all deserve opportunities, we all deserve a home. Long Beach is our home, we can't allow things like this happen again. 

We must rebuild the Pride Lifeguard Tower, a symbol of inclusion and representation, we have a thriving LGBTQ community in our city, and we are not going anywhere! That is the message we need to put out there, we are part of this community and we belong here and everywhere. 

Our goal is to help rebuild the lifeguard tower and hope to educate our city more about our LGBTQ Community with the help from our city officials and LGBTQ leaders. 

Money will be used to rebuild tower and to help develop an inclusion campaign and educational events. We have spoken with Councilwoman Cindy Allen and she's fully supportive of our efforts. We still don't know exactly what it will all look like.. but it's important to not let this go by without acknowledgment and support. 

More info will be shared as we workout details with LGBTQ leaders, City of Long Beach and LGBTQ Center of Long Beach.
