PRIDE HATE CRIME @TAQUERIACANTINA

Hello, Taqueria Cantina team here; we are a small gay owned business that supports the LGBTQ+ Community in Seattle that has tried to create a safe environment for the community while still facing challenges that restaurants face due to COVID-19.

Waking up to a phone call informing us that our business establishment had been vandalized due to hate crime during Pride month. We are trying to fundraise to cover for all damages that were caused by an individual that holds some sort of hatred or dislike towards the LGBTQ+ community. It was extremely sad to find out that this individual burnt down our Pride flags and causing damages that will reflect even more challanges as we are barely trying to recover from the current pandemic.

The funds that will be collected will be to cover the damages and the remaining will be donated the non-profit organization of Imperail Soveriegn Court of Seattle which is an organization that strives to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion through building community, raising awareness and supporting others through charitable acts while providing education and scholarships through Washington.

We thank you for your support and despise the hate that still remains in this society we know that there is still good out there.  #lovewins
