Help Preserve Iconic Farm Sketches
Donación protegida
Hi Family,
For nearly 70 years we have had four beautiful sketches of The Farm hanging over the fireplace. Those pieces were drawn by Marge’s father, Albert E Morgan (known as “Gumpop”) who was a commercial artist in Philadelphia.
After 70 years of fading, stains, glue damage, and fireplace temperatures weathering them to the breaking point, they have been professionally restored and vividly brought back to life.
This GoFundMe is to help cover the cost of the restoration and proper framing so they can take their place again over the fireplace and our great, great, great grandchildren will be able to enjoy them in their original form.
As I was browsing for an image for this GoFundMe, I came across this photo. What I find ironic about the photo is that sitting under the sketches is my grandfather on the Gasparello side ("Popps") with my dad, Marge, and Stan. This is a similar in-law scene that Marge's father would have been in during his visit where he lovingly created the sketches of the farm.
I'm viewing this, and contributing, as a way to pay tribute to Marge while she's here (sorry, Marge! xo).
Really appreciate your consideration. Love you all!
