A Dad Who Could Use Your Help

I am 'soon to be' a sole single dad who could really use your help.  

I didn't know this was 'a thing' but my child's mother has petitioned the court for me to have 'full custody' of our daughter come January.  While I have heard of custody battles to see who would have custody of their children but I have never heard of a legal petition to GIVE the other person custody.

Neither my daughter nor I have asked her for this change.   In fact, in the past, I have spoken to her about how we could work together to alleviate her frustration as a parent.  Nevertheless, my daughter is already feeling the pain of her mother's decision and I suspect that her healing process will be lengthy.  

I don't judge my child's mother.  I've spoken with her about what this looks like but I not sure of all of the mental/emotional/physical factors involved in her decision.

Honestly, I do not feel fully prepared for this task but as any good parent knows, you do what you have to do for your child. I definitely don't want her to be somewhere she's not wanted.

The money will be used to get us our own place and the necessities needed for having full sole custody so suddenly.  I'm currently renting a home with another person and the owner has decided to move to California full-time at the end of the month.  

That is why I'm asking for your help.  Any assistance in any area would be helpful.

I am definitely open to bartering my service as a coach in response to your donation.  Also, I am open to connecting with anyone who has children around the age of 7 years old, in the Vegas area, for potential playdates.
