Tuesday evening we got a call saying Amie had passed out at work. When I got to Texas Roadhouse I was informed she had been taken to Novant Matthews. When we finally were able to go see her, the doctors told me that she had a blood vessel that busted in her brain and she was put on life support. They transported her to Charlotte Presbyterian around 7:30 tuesday night. They drilled a hole in her head to reduce pressure and drain the fluids out. They did plenty of scans.  She just got out of surgery. It went very very well. They opened up her skull in 2 spots to reduce the swelling and pressure. They're putting a new draining catheter to drain the fluids. We are looking at a 6 to 8 week stay in ICU, it could be even more. It all just depends on he progress. Right now we're more concerned about amies well being, and keeping her alive, but we also understand that in the long run we will be up to our necks in medical bills. Even if it's a small donation, anything will help. Any prayers, and messages are welcome to help her and our family get through this hard time.
