On September 3rd, 2021, my amazing, one of a kind brother Mark “Goodstix” Evans passed away unexpectedly.  Mark was a wonderful brother, son and friend.  He was also the best drummer I’ve ever watched.  He played so much great music over the years in San Diego, bringing joy and happiness to everyone he met.  If you knew Mark, you know he’d always have your back, always be ready with something truly hilarious and bizarre to say, and would always be there for those around him, even if he barely knew you.  He was a light that’s gone out far too soon and my family and I are absolutely destroyed.  

Between the loss of their oldest son and all of the many unanticipated costs involved, my parents are having a really tough time with this.  We’ve set up this gofundme to help my family pay for my brother’s memorial expenses (including bringing him back home to San Diego) and multiple other related expenses that have come up.  We’d like to get a nice plot and headstone for my brother through this as well if possible so everyone can always have a place to visit him.
