Bill's Recovery Fund-

Spende geschützt
As many of you may know, Bill was at Crozier Hospital from 3/18 through 3/26. Six of those days were spent in the ICU unit. Leading up to his hospitalization, Bill had been ill and was being treated for systems of a sinus infection. On 3/18, his symptoms worsened and he became very confused and had trouble speaking. He then had a seizure and was taken to Crozer-Chester hospital via ambulance. Due to ongoing confusion and agitation, he was sedated and placed on a breathing machine so that appropriate testing could be conducted. Multiple tests have ruled out a stroke, meningitis and brain tumors; he does have a small meningioma (a benign brain growth), but the doctors state it is not causing his symptoms or something to worry about. While in the hospital, Bill contracted pneumonia, a blood infection and had an additional seizure. The doctors have not been able to diagnosis what is causing all of this even after very extensive testing, including a spinal tap and EEG. Since he is now stable, he was released from the hospital on 3/26 as he was literally turning into a growling bear! Bill was sent home on anti-seizure medication and antibiotics. Bill and Lisa will follow up with Neurologist specialists to root out the source for his condition. Bill was wholly sedated for four days while in the hospital and was slowly weaned off of sedation. Understandably. Bill was not comprehending some of what he was being told when he woke up due to the medication and some misinformation was put out there on social media. Bill did not have a stroke.
Bill has been placed on many restrictions, including no driving for six months and no work for at least several months.
Bill and Lisa are the first people to offer help to everyone they know and often even to those they don't know! Now is the time we must return that favor and help them. Bill is self-employed as an electrician, and this will wreak havoc on them financially as they will have no income coming in. Not to even mention the medical bills that will continue to accumulate. The last thing they need at this time is to lose their home. Bill did a Go Fund Me for my husband and me four years ago when he was critically injured and unable to work for almost a year. He is the reason we were able to keep our home. I plan on being as much of a pain in the ass as he was then; will you help be a pain too and share with as many as you can? Every little donation helps!
