Want to join us in making a difference?

We're so excited to launch Power to the Youth at the Youth Climate Action Network Summit on May 18! We'll be debuting youth-led workshops, activities, and art by our local network of youth-serving organizations! We’d love your help as we try to raise $6,000 to fund our participation in this event.*

The Food Project (TFP) is a youth empowerment organization dedicated to sustainable agriculture and food sovereignty since 1991. Last year, we formed Power to the Youth, a network of over ten local organizations committed to youth leadership. Members of The Food Project’s Greater Boston and North Shore Root Crews have devoted their winter and spring trimesters to develop a community event around launching a youth leadership network.

Power to the Youth is partnering with Boston Latin School's YouthCAN Summit in order to encourage self expression, liberation, and environmental justice. The money curated from this fundraiser will not only fund delicious local food, art supplies for workshops, and local musicians and performers, but will give The Food Project the capacity to continue this framework of putting youth at the focal point of event planning and managing into the future.

Please learn more about Power to the Youth on our website: https://thefoodproject.org/powertotheyouth/

Thank you for chipping in to support us!

Sincerely,
The Food Project’s GB & NS Root Crews

*All funds raised in this campaign will be used by The Food Project to support our efforts to build the Power to the Youth network and its May 18 debut event at the Youth Climate Action Network Summit.
