Whitby Health Partnerships Sponsored Walk

Hi there,

We at Whitby Health Partnership are taking part in a sponsored walk to raise funds for Port Support which is 1-2-1 counselling for our local youth.

Space Hive need £10,000 and they have already raised £7,500. Any help they can get will take them closer to the £10k mark! £10k will pay for...........

*Ellesmere Port's 1-2-1 counselling support service. Dedicated to uplifting our local youth, we navigate challenges together, fostering resilience and hope.

*The Port Support Project not only offers immediate assistance but long-term benefits for Ellesmere Port's youth. Providing 225 one-to-one counselling sessions;

*Immediate Support: Every session offers a safe space for our youth to voice their feelings, challenges, and fears. This immediate outlet can often alleviate pressing emotional and mental burdens.

*Building Resilience: With consistent counselling, we teach coping mechanisms, fostering resilience against life's adversities.

*Improved Mental Health: Qualified counsellors offer strategies to combat depression, anxiety, and stress, leading to enhanced overall mental well-being. Boosted Self-Esteem: Young people acquire tools to build self-confidence, essential for navigating life's challenges.

*Skill Development: Each session teaches vital life skills like effective communication, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence. Strengthened Community: Offering support to our youth ensures a healthier communities
