Danette's Medical Fund

As many of you may know, my mother, Danette, was diagnosed with an oflactory-neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer, last year.  Given the rare nature of this diagnosis (only 1,200 known cases since 1924), she has needed very specialized care at the Univeristy of Minnesota.  To date, my parents have had the good fortune of being able to use the Hope Lodge's facilities to help defray the substantial cost of her medical needs.  Even with the help of the Hope Lodge, the cost of care, transportation, and providing for themselves and the newest additions to our family is becoming a heavy burden.  

My father, Mark, has needed to take a substantial amount of time off of work to split his time between caring for Danette in the metro, and caring for the 5 adoptive children relying on my parents.  Any help that you can provide will be used to cover medical, transportation, and incidental costs.

My mother is one of the most caring and selfless people you will ever meet, and she is not the type to ask for help.  So, in her place I will ask. Know that my whole family will be forever grateful.  Thank you in advance for any contribution that you can make.
