No Child Left Hungry

Donation protected
With the shutdown of schools due to COVID-19 the Literacy Initiative, which is normally an organization that runs after school programs in schools but during this time of crisis, we are focusing our efforts on providing lunches and snacks to kids who rely on food provided by schools and programs like ours to get their daily nutrition. We calculated that at the cheapest prices we can buy one lunch for 99 cents and one banana for 14 cents which equal $1.13 per kid per day and we are trying to feed 1,000 children per day so that equals $5,650 per week which gives us our total of $25,425 for the month that schools are off. We need to raise this money at a rate of at least $1,130 per day for the next month so we can have the means to feed these hungry kids.
