We need a new minibus!

" INSPIRE SUSSEX" provides help and support for people with a learning disability, their families, dependents and carers to enable those with a learning disability to live as full a life as their disability will allow.

We support beneficiaries in our three residential care homes, the INSPIRE Day Service, which it is much loved and attended by our service users during the week. Unfortunately, since our minibus broke down we have struggled in making sure our service users can attend the day centre regularly.

Service users, families, carers and care homes have relied heavily on our minibus and now we are stranded. We are using a car as a backup but it is not "inclusive" and wheelchair users have been left out so far.

For this reason we are thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to all of you for a truly fudraising remarkable event - 'The One Thousand Challenge'! Mark your calendars for December 1st, 2023, from 10 am to 2 pm, as we gather at the Eastbourne Sports Park, East Sussex College, BN21 2UF.

Our goal is to collectively complete 1000 laps of the track in a mere 4 hours, and we can only achieve this incredible feat with your generous support.

The funds raised during this event will be dedicated to acquiring a new minibus for our learning disability support service. This new addition will significantly enhance the opportunities available to the individuals attending our day centre, improving their quality of life through access to events and opportunities.
