What a summer we have had! For those of us involved in the pool community we really could not have asked for better. Our children had the opportunity to be outside and enjoy all that POOL life has to offer, friendships, swimming, synchro, water polo, Leaders, lessons and so much more…the things memories are built from.
As with many things the month of August rings in a to many a familiar routine and to others something new and equally exciting, school! Perhaps to us parents it means traffic jams and some frustration but in the end, it is all about our children and making sure that we give them opportunities to grow, prosper and be kids.
Having a home, a community like the NAA and pool system, is such a blessing because we are surrounded by like minded people and it’s a great comment on us as human beings. To those in baseball, soccer, football and the other summer sports I am sure you feel the same. We love a community and the ability to connect.
NOW WHAT IF THAT COMFORT, THAT COMMUNITY, THAT FAMILY, AND MUCH MUCH MORE WAS ALL TORN AWAY IN ONE FELLED SWOOP?
Can you imagine the pain and anguish?
Well Carole and I am reaching out to the Pool communities and all other communities on behalf of one of our members who is about to lose something vital, and as her children have asked, “Please mommy can we save the house?”
You see, due to “life’s challenges” this member is going through what can only be described as a nightmare. Unfortunately, the big D can be ugly and, in her case,, it is. Her other half is being difficult by refusing to PAY what he is supposed to pay and this battle is being made personal and the children are the losers as they are becoming the why versus making it positively about them.
Now we are not here to comment on the why’s nor pass judgement…okay, much, but what we want to do as friends and members of the same community, is reach out and help this woman!
It is hour 11.5 and we learned she is about to potentially” LOSE HER HOME” due to non-payment of taxes. Her kid’s security blanket, the one thing that perhaps they hold on to amidst the chaos of their parent’s relationship may be torn away.
WE want to help her by raising the necessary money to pay for a stay of execution and then give her the time required to find better LEGA: representation and help her move on.
We hope that you find it in your hearts to help us reach the goal.
As a community you humbled me and helped my family through a major crisis when Sandrine needed a fully adapted van and now I am trying to return the favor in whatever way I can by writing to everyone.
If you would like further information, please write to us directly as we are trying to avoid a personal mention of our member and her 4 children. Bless each and every one of you and lets not forgot and take for granted those around us, what we have and that TOGETHER WE CAN DO ANYTHING.
YOUR ACT OF KINDNESS WILL GO A LONG WAY IN HELPING YOUR NEIGHBOR GET THROUGH TOMORROW!
