Please help with Samara's medical expenses.

My name is Pete Field; I am reaching out on behalf of my good friend Jim Marsden and his family, as they are working together to raise funds for their eldest daughter, Samara, who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer.

Samara is only 28 years old, she’s an artist, a writer and a translator. She wishes to once again be well enough to live a fulfilling life at her family’s side, to push forward on projects and dreams she had just begun walking towards, to meet new people and to share good memories with the friends she has made along the way.

Unfortunately, although she has been fighting with all her strength, Mexico’s public health service has many issues which have caused delays to her treatment, resulting in a dangerous prognosis: she cannot wait for the public health service to provide the surgery she needs.

As her family learned of this, one thing became clear: they were not going to stop fighting for their daughter and sister. As such, they are working together, with their relatives, with their community in Mexico, the UK and the US, with friends and with kind strangers who have extended a helping hand, and an option has been found with a doctor who has generously offered whatever help she may to lessen the costs of the procedure.

All the funds raised will be used for the procedure to remove Samara’s tumor. Any help you can provide, will help this family be one step closer to saving the life of this brave young woman. Thank-you.
