As you all know by now the Matriarch of our family, my amazing sweet kind loving and generous Grandma Ana has left us and gone to Heaven to be with our Lord. To any of you who were able to know her and her heart, you know how lucky and blessed we are to have been able to exist at the same time as she did.

We knew her health was diminishing, and more health issues were beginning to arise, but we were not prepared for this at all, and never thought it would happen so soon.

My grandma was so strong, tough, and stubborn, and she didn’t want us to know how much she was struggling, or how much pain she was in, but she stayed strong for us as long as she could, 87 amazing years. She is at peace now.

As her health diminished, my mom decided to give up everything to take care of my grandma. Gave up her home, job, everything, to be there as her caretaker. Since my grandma has been hospitalized a few times recently, her pay was little to none.

My mom had prepaid for her mother's funeral plot in advance at the time of my grandpa’s passing in 1988, but when my uncle passed away, my grandma generously without hesitation offered the plot to her son when he unexpectedly passed in 2007, without realizing the financial burden it would put on us years later. We all thought she was immortal.

Now we are struggling to pay for my grandma's funeral and memorial services. It was my grandma’s wishes that her final resting place be next to her husband and son at Rose Hills, and we would like to honor her wishes.
