Please help to give my brother another chance

November 25 will be 7 months since my brother got in his accident. We found out through a family friend that he was in the hospital in critical condition and in a coma. The doctors were telling us that based on the fact that he he suffered a severe tbi (traumatic brain injury) that his chance of recovery is small to none. They told us that he will most likely spend the rest of his life in a coma (which they give about 5 years for someone who is breathing with machines and feeding through a tube). Well now it’s 6 months later and my brother is not in a coma anymore. He has a very long way to go and we are very hopeful and positive for his recovery even though the doctors told us he basically has no chance to ever have a normal life again. He still isn’t walking or talking and he’s still being fed through a tube. He’s alive and that’s the biggest miracle and blessing in its own. The place he is at now is not the best and they aren’t giving him the treatment he needs to have a chance to recover. If we don’t get him out of the place he’s currently staying in his chance of recovery is slim to none. He needs aggressive therapy in order to keep his brain strong and working otherwise he doesn’t have a good chance at having a normal life again. The places that will give him the therapy he needs are not covered by his insurance so we are trying to raise money to bring him somewhere that will be able to give him the therapy and attention he needs to recover as close to 100% as possible.
