Hi friends, Ron Trundle here, most of you know me as Ronnie Tee country music festival compare, country music DJ/radio presenter and Chairman of country radio station Todays Country.

As some of you may have heard, our much loved friend country music artist Seleen McAlister has been battling with major health issues for the last 5 or more years and she needs our help now more than ever.

One day, on the verge of a bright and shining career Seleen was rushed to hospital for lifesaving surgery to save her leg after a massive infection almost took her life. After months of physio and hospital stays she started her much loved journey back to music but sadly next to strike was problems with her vision and after 11 surgeries to help repair her sight nothing more could be done and she lost her sight, her ability to drive and her independence. As you can imagine this was a devastating blow to Seleen and her musical journey let alone the impact on her ever supportive husband Jason and their young children Eliza, Erin & Riley

With the help of friends and family she tried to keep performing little gigs here and there but in 2019 her Kidneys began to fail and she has been in and out of hospital ever since. In 2020 she started the journey towards Dialysis and now has treatment 3 days a week for 4 hours each time. AS you can imagine this greatly impacts the family emotionally but also has had a huge impact on Seleen's earning capability

In March this year after a barrage of tests it was decided by a panel of Drs that she was a suitable candidate for a lifesaving Kidney Transplant but the wait for a Kidney transplant at the moment is about 5 years and Seleen has now been on Dialysis for just over 2 years.

The impact this has had on Seleen and her family is insurmountable and even though Seleen is such a positive person, her mental health, the strain and daily struggle of treatment on her body and the stress of not being able to work has made what is already so difficult even worse.

On top of every day living expenses you can add Medical expenses, medication expenses, to and from specialist appointments and hospital surgery stays. These impacts are endless until a suitable donor found and this go fund me will help ease the burden financially so Seleen can focus on her health and family.

Seleen has always selflessly put her hand up to help with charities and performed for many fundraisers throughout the years helping those in need. Now one of the nicest people in country music needs our love and help in return. So please do what you can, I know times are tough for many but the littlest donation can help so much.

Even after the transplant Seleen will have a long road to recovery to overcome and this will help relieve one of the biggest stresses....financial
