Please Help Support John's Family in Their Time of Crisis
Donation protected
John O'Mara was the kind of person who lit up a room. Charismatic, funny, sweet, and endlessly positive. He was a loving father, partner, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to so many. His passion was music — you may have seen him on stage, pouring his heart into every performance with his band, Johnny O. and the Lost Cowboy Troubadours. Entertaining others wasn’t just what he did — it’s who he was.
Tragically, John was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, May 1st, initially diagnosed with pneumonia. What began as a serious infection quickly spiraled into a life-threatening crisis. John was and always has been a fighter. He fought for his life for almost 3 long days. Tragically on Saturday night, May 3rd, surrounded by some of his loved ones, his heart gave out. The speed and severity of his passing has left his loved ones reeling.
As they navigate this emotional and physical nightmare, they’re also facing financial uncertainty. Unexpected medical expenses, legal expenses, and memorial service costs after a sudden crisis like this are overwhelming.
We are asking for your help. Any donation, no matter the size, will help lighten the financial burden on John’s family so they can focus on what matters most — grieving his loss and supporting each other through the hardest chapter of their lives.
If you’ve ever been touched by John’s music, his humor, or his friendship, please consider giving what you can. And whether or not you’re able to donate, please share this page with others and keep John and his family in your thoughts.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love.
