Hi we have a 6 week old kitten who was born with a rare condition called pectus Excavatum. Affected kittens often show a visible indentation in the chest, breathing difficulties (tachypnea), cyanosis (blue-tinted skin), and a significant failure to thrive.
At the moment he is cuddly, plays, runs and eats well.
He requires a CT scan at £750 and we have had a quote for £1600 which is the scan + surgery.
The prognosis is often good for kittens who undergo successful surgical correction, allowing them to live high-quality lives.
Please consider donating to help this beautiful furbaby any money left over will be donated to NAWT in Hayle.
