Please help Shannon while she’s battling cancer

Hi, my name is Jan and I’m trying to help raise funds for my daughter Shannon, who’s currently battling cancer. Shannon is my youngest daughter and a mother to my grandson who is five years old.

Shannon has been diagnosed with breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma and invasive lobular carcinoma), which is triple positive. Triple positive means that the cancer is estrogen positive, progesterone positive and Her 2 positive. Treatment for my daughter includes surgery, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation and hormone blocking pills.

Currently, Shannon is going through chemotherapy and has been unable to work during her treatment. She has been in and out of the hospital from catching pneumonia in December and catching infections. Her chemotherapy was changed twice because her body could not take on the aggressive treatment the oncologist wanted to do. After surgery a positive lymph node was found in her armpit region, which is why chemotherapy has to be more aggressive to kill the cancer cells that have spread outside the breast.

Shannon is a wonderful mother to her son Charlie. She has a big heart and would do anything to help others. Please help raise money for her and her son while she is going through treatment. Any amount helps.
