Please Help Save My Sister, Mayen - She needs a Bone Marrow Transplant

Hi everyone,

With a heavy heart, I’m reaching out to ask for your help. My sister, Mayen Pracuelles, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on 11 December 2024. She is currently admitted at Dubai Hospital, undergoing treatment, and is about to begin her 4th cycle of chemotherapy.

Mayen has basic medical insurance, but it doesn’t come close to covering the full cost of her treatment. After completing this final chemo cycle, she will need to undergo a Bone Marrow Transplant — a procedure that’s not available at Dubai Hospital and not covered by her insurance. She was referred to American Hospital on 3 February 2025, where this critical procedure can be performed.

We are deeply grateful that our youngest sister is a perfect match as a donor. Now, the only thing standing between Mayen and this life-saving procedure is the cost.

Doctors have urged us to proceed with the transplant immediately after the 4th cycle. Time is not on our side — and this is where we humbly ask for your support.

This is an incredibly difficult time for our family, but we continue to hold on to faith and hope — especially with your help.
