Please Help Save Halesowen's Countryside

As some of you will know, the beautiful countryside and the surrounding area of Halesowen is under considerable threat by property developers. But what we read in the newspapers is only half of the story!
A Facebook group 'Save Halesowen's Countryside' is doing a huge amount of work behind the scenes to make the public aware of how this would affect not only the countryside, but would also impact (in my opinion) on an already fractured infrastructure. I would encourage you to look them up on Facebook and review historic posts and information. They are currently just short of 3.5k members and are appealing for more......please follow them.
The group is run by volunteers who give up a huge amount of their free time and energy to give us, the people of Halesowen and surrounding areas a voice and the information we need. They attend meetings, review documents, legislation etc and ask all the right questions, all on our behalf, all in their own time and at their own expense.
But they need to spread the word further and get more voices heard over what could be a catastrophic development for the area for all manner of reasons.
Not everyone is on Facebook so future leaflet drops are being planned as well as other awareness meetings and events, but these incur costs which I believe should not be carried by those who are representing us. Future costs could also include legal or professional advice again, something those representing us should not have to concern themselves with.
I believe the community of Halesowen is very good at pulling together and it would mean a great deal to me if would show your support by offering a small donation towards these costs.
Your countryside needs you. It's yours to enjoy. It's yours to protect.
Guarantee is given that all funds raised (less any GoFundMe transaction fees) will be handed over to the group to be used for campaign related expenditure only. Should any funds be left at the end of their campaign, they will be distributed to local worthy causes.
