Please help pay for lifesaving chemotherapy

Hello! My name is Reena. I was first diagnosed with a Grade 3, Anaplastic Astrocytoma, a brain tumour when I was 24, back in 2006. I underwent two brain surgeries, radiation therapy and chemotherapy and was cancer free for 13 years! Then in March of 2019, during my routine annual MRI, we saw my an enhancement in the scans, my brain tumour had recurred after 13 years! There were many obstacles this time around. Medical insurance no longer covered my brain illness. Despite it all, through the grace and kindness of God, my family, friends and doctors, my surgeon was able to go ahead with surgery in June to succcessfully remove the tumour. Despite many post operative complications, including several unscheduled emergency room visits, I was recovering well. Until November of 2019, roughly 5 months post op when I had a seizure at home. A CT scan showed excessive scar tissue, which my doctor tells me is normal considering I have had my brain cut into three times now, plus radiation and chemo! So, I am now an epileptic and have to be on anti convulsants for life. So medications. Seeing this, my dr has my tumour sample sent for a second opinion to another pathologist and the results now come back as grade 3, Anaplastic Astrocytoma, same as 13 years ago. So, it's no longer considered a low grade tumour meaning it is time for an oncology consult. An MRI in November 2019 showed significant tumour and disease progression, indicating that the the tumour may have possibly advanced to a GBM (Grade 4). My oncologist now suggests chemotherapy, 4 cycles of a combination of 2 drugs, Avastin and Irinotecan. A repeat scan and then continuation of chemo. Which finally brings me to the point of this GoFundMe. Each Avastin treatment costs approximately RM25k (~AU$6k). I am signed up with a program that offers a subsidy to patients who have no insurance: where it is a buy 1, free 1 and buy 2, free 2 program. As of today, February 12th 2020, I have completed 4 cycles and have reported very positive results. My last MRI in January shows less enhancement and swelling and that the chemo seems to be working. As such, my oncologist would like to continue with the chemotherapy as there is still some disease seen in the margins on my brain. However, my family and I have run out of money to pay for the remaining 3 cycles needed to complete the subsidy program. Hence this plea. Please help in any way you can. Hi all. Update for you all: First off, THANK YOU to all of you who were so generous and kind in contributing to my GoFundMe! Because of each and every one of you, we were able to pay for and I was able to complete the last 3 cycles of chemo in March. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I had my post chemo MRI on Monday, 30th March. Good news and bad news. Good news is that the 7 cycles has done it's job. The scans show less enhancement, meaning less cancer. Bad news is that there still IS enhancement, which means there is still evidence of cancer present. So my oncologist is advising four more cycles, beginning immediately. Catch is, my incredible nurse has pretty much told me that my veins have collapsed. Also, because of the type of drug I'm on (Avastin), I can't opt for a chemo port as I may bleed and not heal properly. So today I had a PICC 'installed' in my right arm (pic attached) and am due to start chemo tomorrow, Friday, 3rd April. Here's where I need your help again please.

Now is a terrible time for everyone. We are all in the midst of a global pandemic, people are losing jobs and their income. I know it's the worst possible time and I apologise for the timing of this request. Please help share this and help by giving however much you can. Any amount is valued and appreciated.
