A man’s best friend, a dog. Such gentle, sweet and loyal creatures and no matter what good or bad that we put them through, the only thing they know how to return is love.
We all pray to never have to be in a position of seeking financial help specifically for our furry friends.
Boni(Bonito), our family dog has been under the care of my mother for seven and a half years. Unfortunately, the decline of my mother’s mental health over the years hit rock bottom on Sunday, December 11th of 2023. Fortunately, God was with her that night and my mother and Boni will only be apart until she’s fully recovered.
Sadly, Boni too has been suffering from underlying medical issues that we discovered at his emergency vet visit December 12th of 2023. Boni is currently able to produce little to no bowel movements due to a hernia that must be surgically repaired as soon as possible. In addition, Boni’s enlarged prostate has caused urinary retention and if left untreated could potentially lead to kidney damage or death.
It’s no news that vet visits and surgical procedures for our furry babies are extremely costly, especially when they are unexpected.
We are close to exhausting our options and are seeking any financial help we can get so that Boni, our beautiful old English sheep dog and sweet boy can get the surgery he desperately needs to feel relief and avoid further complications God willing.
