We have an amazing son who was born with special needs. We feel blessed to have Zach in our lives. His numerous health issues can be a real challenge. His autism, epilepsy, diabetes, and severe sensory disorders are just a few that have changed all our lives. He is non-verbal, which creates serious communication issues in life. It’s tough; the last few years he’s developed insomnia, so not getting proper sleep creates all kinds of problems during the day with his therapies and day program. He falls asleep throughout the day, which makes it hard to concentrate, and not getting quality sleep, I feel, contributes to having more seizures. His doctor suggested a Cubby Bed. These beds are designed specifically for persons with special needs. The tech hub feature has a camera to monitor Zach, and it will alert me when there’s movement, record his seizures, play prerecorded soothing sounds to relax him and help him fall asleep and stay asleep, and has lights to mimic day and night. So many features that will benefit Zach; the technology is amazing. Zach has had to battle so many health issues in his life, and this technology will help him in so many ways. I know times are tough for everyone, and we’re in no position financially ourselves to purchase this.
