Hi our names are ruth and tony and we are fundraising for our beautiful neice natalie hartley who has sadly only been given 18 months to live, she is an amazing mum to 2 gorgeous young children. Natalie had been back and forth to the doctors with headaches only to be fobbed off saying it was due to migraines. 5 years ago taking her young son to school with her baby daughter Natalie collapsed in the street , thankfully passers by rang an ambulance and from there she was transported to Preston hospital and taken into intensive care and was being treated for a brain tumour, she has battled through treatment until 3 years later being diagnosed with bowel cancer which sadly her father passed from at the age of 28 while her mum was pregnant with Natalie. Again Natalie challenged this head on. She was operated on and now has to use a stoma bag. Natalie regularly attends brain scans to track the growth of her tumour, she was told on her last consultation the heartbreaking news that she was looking at 18 months to live. Natalie opened up to us and said that she had so many things that she wanted to do with the children but now time to save wasn’t an option.
