Please help my hometown in Ukraine

My name is Nataliya Baltsevych and I am proud to say I am Ukrainian. For anyone who doesn’t know, Russia has invaded Ukraine. Not only have they invaded Ukraine, but they did it at 5AM while our whole population was innocently asleep.

For safety reasons, I can't mention the name of my hometown in Ukraine. But, I do have a lot of my family there. They cannot leave. They cannot sleep. They cannot work to make any money. All throughout the country, innocent people are killed. Women and children are raped to death.

Many civilians stand up to fight the enemy with nothing but their courage. Young children are fighting for their lives to defend our country. They can only pray that this ends and we can rebuild all the damage that has been done. This is all happening while more and more people are migrating into our town to find shelter. Their lives are revolving around saving other peoples lives.

To put it into retrospect it’s not a huge town, and we have thousands of people with their homes, possessions, and family members left behind as they are being forced to move away from the big cities and migrate towards us.

Here is my main point: My family owns manufacturing factories that we are converting into shelters to help all of these people. This isn’t temporary. This is going to last years! Their homes are destroyed and they cannot work. They cannot produce any income. All of these people are homeless. Hundreds of children that escape don't have anything at all, in most cases not even their parents by their side. We are trying with everything we have to provide housing, water, food, electricity, and a roof over all of these peoples heads until we weather the big storm.

Lider-Plast, my dad's company in Ukraine,  can use their equipment to produce hemostatic turnstiles.  It is a modern, compact, and highly effective tool for stopping bleeding of any type and intensity. However, due to the active war in Ukraine, we do not have the financial means to pay for the materials. We are asking the whole world to help us raise the funds, and we are asking You too.

Additionally, we are raising the funds to help my hometown's local animal shelter. Volunteers keep rescuing all the animals that are left behind. We are also fueling our volunteers' cars who risk their own lives to go transport food, medicine, and other necessities needed in desperate places.

If you can put yourself in their shoes for one moment (you just lost your home, maybe your family member to the war, you lost every sentimental item you ever owned, you lost all of your money, you lost EVERYTHING) and find it in your heart to donate anything at all, you will possibly save somebody’s life.
