Mitz is a little 23lb lab/hound mix. She was found emaciated and badly injured and a Good Samaritan took her to a shelter in SC. Our rescue, Jesse’s Place, desperately wants to save her and help her have a second chance at life. Both her back legs are broken and she is having surgery as I write this, to save one leg. The other leg will be operated on in the weeks ahead.
She will need months of crate rest and very careful feeding to bring her weight back to where it should be, around 45 lbs.
She is a sweet gentle little soul who has had a terrible start to life. We need your help to change her future into a bright one.
