Thank You for Your Time and Help!
Hello, my name is Kathryn and have moved my brother's belongings, at least what is needed. Some of his belongings have already vanished.
We will be laundering more things as I had to take a break for my own health with C. virus which has been a kick in my backside.
The C. virus is still lingering around
The storage unit in Alameda is still present and items have either been moved to his place or moved from his new place. Still a work in progress.
. Patrick has made great progress in healing as well as being motivated to keep working on his goals.
We seem happy for where he is living now. I will revise this better when my thinking is more clear.
I would not create this GoFundMe if I had the additional funds myself for meeting these immediate needs.
I work full time and am overseeing his needs as I am able. Without certainty of how long before his new residency will take place It is a great relief to have had the three men aid in the moving and stacking of my brother's things. I have recently gotten a ruptured eardrum and am still healing. Hard stuff! His recent return of playing his acoustic guitar and song writing is really positive.
If you are able to contribute anything towards the storage, which is a fair monthly fee.
Please share this as it could help this process.
This is a challenge, but the progress is great to witness with his healing.
Thank you for those who have been able to generously contribute towards this hardship. Everybit counts!
If I had the income to provide what is needed for his things, I would not be asking for help. This photo with his glasses was about 6 months before being hospitalized.

He has been of service to many that sought his support in the last 28 plus years or more. Sincerely, Kathryn

Approximately monthly storage 150.00 that usually increases over time.
Laundry before repacking
$ uncertain.
This is a very rough estimate.
To those who prefer to contribute anonymously, I am thanking you here. I am not able to thank you privately. ❤️ I have secured a storage unit and paid for a few months. Please share my post if you are able. He is not there yet, but safe. I met virtually with him and the Senior Day Center that also includes all medical care & Rehabilitation . I was present in his medication evaluation via zoom with him and a consulting psychiatrist. More diagnosis were founded and noted Dementia and a change of medication.
He is now authorized to be able to move to a RCFE
Anything else you can offer is totally appreciated!
This edit is via my cell phone. If you see any repeats, please know it is in error. I feel like I have lost time due to the ruptured eardrum and treatment process.
Respectfully, Kathryn
P.S. I am dealing with my own health through this as well. Above ground & moving around. Slowly now. I will go to see him today and bring him his black licorice and something for his birthday. That apartment is like a toxic place and am grateful for he is safe.
Gratefulness!
