Please help Jude in pursuit to correct his vision

Jude, aged 6, is a thriving, intelligent, courageous little boy attending St Joseph International Catholic College in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. At birth, he had Congenital Ptosis in his left eye. Congenital Ptosis is the presence of a droopy eyelid(s) since birth, and if left untreated, it can lead to poor vision or complete blindness.

A recent visit to an Optometrist in Cairns (Laubman & Pank) has confirmed his condition and, as a result, referred Jude to seek further medical assessment(s) by a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at Valley Eye Specialists, Brisbane. He will need to raise $3500 before the 31st of December 2022 for his initial assessment to be carried out by January 2023. Subsequent to his evaluation, the specialist can determine what surgical procedure he will undergo.

Jude, raised full-time by his mother, is reaching out to the public to help meet their expenses for his consultation. These expenses include travel, accommodation, transportation, and medical.
