Emergency Spine Surgery for Bleau.

Bleau my little ShihTzu injured himself playing in the garden Wednesday 11th March 2020. I took him straight to the vets they prescribed him metacam for his pain and told me if he was no better to bring him back the following Wednesday 18th March 20 20 for spine xrays. He didnt make a recovery and was still in pain. He had his xrays and the news was not good. I'm devastated Bleau has an lumbar injury. Hes on 80mg Tralieve (Tramodol) ( 2 x 20mg) twice daily. Bleau went for his  his 1st steroid injection today Saturday 21st March 2020 this is to try and reduce the swelling. He has to go back on Monday morning for a 2nd injection. Even though I'm on a very low income, I had my little furbabie insured. I'm not in receipt of benefits, I have no children ( not through choice) I just wasnt blessed.  My insurance only covers £1000 per condition. So far the fees are just short of £500. The vet wants Bleau to have an MRI this will give a more detailed image of his injury to see what corrective surgery he will need on his spine. The MRI costs £2000 and corrective surgery can cost from £7000 Please feel free to share with your friends & family. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated. I understand if you cant. Bleau will be 5 at the end of July. I'm totally destroyed.
