#platothedude of the San Lorenzo Valley
Spende geschützt
What can I even say about Plato The Dude. Over the last 8 years I've watched this amazing dog find the puppy's in and around the San Lorenzo Valley. One big issue for me personally is accepting donations because we do what we do because we want to do it. I learned from my grandfather that helping others with no expectations is the best way to live life because you'll never be disappointed.
I really am at a loss but in the end Plato is now 10+ years old and a born and breed BC Local.
We've been on 97 tracks all over California and we have found 60. The last few years have been problematic at best since the #czufirecomplex. Getting out and about has changed my perspective and keeps our heads up
All I'm trying to accomplish with this fundraiser is to help me alleviate some of his vet bills and hopefully allow me to train the next Generation. His name is #kenothedude
- I've been adamently opposed to fundraising but considering out current situation im listening to my friends and family in the slv and putting this out there.
- I've consciously not accepted donations or fees because I felt it would skew my intentions.
- Plato loves to track and he's not done working.
- Plato and I have Lyme disease as a result of our tracking.
- We've collectively searched 5,332 miles and a majority of that was just before and just after the #czufirecomplex and I've passed on my GPS data maps to local authorities to use incase of emergencies. Our data from the slvmappingproject was used during the czu.
- In the past I've asked all donations go to Valley Churches United because time and time again they have supported Plato and I. If you feel that's a more appropriate place to donate please do so in Platos name.
- Id like to have a dedicated cell phone on Plato and Callisto to track his active GPS on his harness as its significantly more accurate via GPS with Cellular and I can provide a live track with an active GPS trail via Gaiia and Google maps. Additionally in those rare but happenstance times even Platothedude has run off and gotten lost.
- I woul'd like to pick one Vetenarian in addition to Dr Gary who can provide additional health services not available via the Mtn. VET. Then I can comfortably ask for help to pay for his Healthcare with donations directly to his doctor. (Do you have any suggestions?)
Thanks for your support.
