I am Jake Lively's sister. He is Lucy's bonus parent. She is my niece. (We don't do step, half in our family) On the first day of school Lucy collapsed and had a cardiac event. Her little brain went many minutes without oxygen while they were trying to save her life. When she was in our local hospital, she had activity in her brain that made them Lifeflight her to Riley Children's in Indy where all of her parents are facing the most horrible decisions and situations that no one should have to face. Little Lucy is a bright light in a sometimes grim world, she makes us all laugh, and warms so many souls with her love and huge heart.

This is not something you can EVER be prepared for, and we are asking if you can, to help them cover all of this and what is to come.
