New Hampshire high school hoop twins, Anthony and Tyrone Chinn of Pinkerton Academy and New England Storm Basketball, have made themselves well known throughout the New England basketball community for their tenacious, determined playing style on the court. Unfortunately, that tenacity and determination alone may not be enough in the coming weeks, months and years. They’ll need the support of an entire community after losing their father, Darren Chinn, in a tragic and fatal car accident on Saturday, October 22.

We are hoping that our Pinkerton family and the basketball communities of New Hampshire, New England, and beyond will rally with their generosity to raise funds for these young men, and their mother, Jackie.

While losing a loved one is never easy, the timing truly could not be worse for this family.  They recently found a new space to call home but have very little with which to furnish it as Darren was always the one to take responsibility for such things. 

Funds are primarily intended to be used to help the boys and Jackie get settled in their new home and pay for Darren’s funeral expenses.  Any additional funds raised will be reserved for Anthony and Tyrone to cover expenses associated with senior year activities, including graduation, and for educational expenses as they continue their academic careers beyond Pinkerton Academy.
