Pickard Family Medical Fund

We are the Pickard family. Shannon, Will, Jessica, Nathan & Molly. Will was the Mayfield delivery "Milk Man" on Lookout Mountain for several years. He also delivered milk to Fairyland Elementary School. Shannon is a teacher for Pre-K, also at Fairyland School. Will was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer in 2015.  He underwent Chemo and Radiaton until March 2016. He then had surgery to remove the tumor and half his colon. He had an ileostomy and followed that with 3 months of Chemo. During this time, Mayfield Dairy released him from his job. In August 2016, a spot was found in his lung and was treated with radiation. He went a short time with no signs of cancer. In December a scan came back abnormal whcih was followed by more scans and a lung biopsy. He then learned the cancer had  metastasized to his lungs.  He started a new round of chemo which was followed by  numerous  complications. He has been hospitalized four times in the last year. He has lost half his sight due to several strokes. Doctors ran tests and discovered a large blood clot in his left ventrical of his heart that has broken off and caused his strokes. He is on a 3rd round of chemo now and a lot of blood thinners. This will help break the blood clot down and hopefully prevent anymore strokes. We are hoping and praying the chemo works on the cancer and the are no more complications. As you can imagine we have been hit hard emotionally and financially. Any help you can give my family is greatly appreciated!  God has this in His hands. Please pray for our family.
