PHIL PEARCE; MISSING FATHER.

Phil pearce, a 68 year old male from Bridgwater, somerset, England went on holiday with a travel companion they flew from bristol airport to Alicante where his holiday started in the tourist city of benidorm, he was staying in Gemelos 26 in the old town. Phil and his friend planned on being their a week. However, Tuesday we recieved a dreaded heart wrenching call that Phil a beloved dad, granddad, great grandad and friend had gone missing, our hearts sunk into the pits of our stomach.

Phil on monday 9th September 2019 was seen by another holiday maker in a bar apparently in the new town of benidorm. This kind gentleman had stopped phil and asked if he was okay but Phil seemed every disorientated and confused. Phil couldnt remember his home address, his hotel, his age or anything. Phil didnt have anything on his person no ID, no belongings there is a chance that Phil had early dementia but has been scared of the results that hes refused doctor appointments. A kind gentleman checked phil to make sure he was okay, and took him in a taxi to the local policia. Phil was held for a few hours before being released at 3am tuesday morning whether it was there authority or because Phil didnt want to be there is another story, We feel The Spanish police have already failed their duty of care, as phil wasnt in the right place to be making that decision about his safety or wellbeing at that moment in time. PHIL HASNT BEEN SEEN SINCE. 

I I Charlotte dyer (lottie) made a plea on Facebook for any information regarding our beloved PAPA BEAR. which has had over 1.1k of shares. 

My mum and dad (phils son) flew put to benidorm at their earliest convenience to try and find some answers. While back here in the UK me and phils other son Lee have been trying endlessly to contact different papers and news broadcasts to try and get some extra help. This story is now broadcasted with The sun, The daily mirror, Bridgwater Mercury, Highbridge and burnham, ITV news west country and the BBC news. But we still feel as a family arent getting anywhere. 

The foreign office apparently released a statement saying "supporting the family" however there has been no support, the Spanish police arent taking this seriously despite a missing persons report being filed the day Phil went missing.  We arent as a family aslong for miracles, but we feel that more could be done, seems as the officals arent helping. Ive set this go fund me oage to help with the cost of creating spanish written posters and flyers to distribute over in benidorm (we noticed the majority of people said no to our posters because they were in spanish) now there has been positive sightings of ohil one whoch hss been confirmed via the police Any money rasied would help contribute to hospital treatments, his accommodation and flights home. And any money rasied again, and left over will be donated to DEMENTIA UK a registered charity, as this charity means alot to us as a family. 

Every little helps whether its 50P or £1. We thank everyone whos seen, shared and past on phils details to everyone in best efforts to bring him home to a town full of people he loves. We cant thank you all individually but we can publicly and from the bottoms of my family and my heart i appreciate every bit of help we can get. Our family is destroyed.
