PhD Defence Gift Jana Trifunovic: Memorial Bench

This crowdfunder is aimed towards the purchase and installation of a ‘memorial bench’ (a public bench with a sign/plaque in memory of a loved one) to be installed in the Maastricht area, in memory of Jana's father, who passed away during her PhD trajectory. Jana was very close to her dad has shared with us that she would like for such a bench to be built in his memory, and we would like to make this happen.

Depending on location, material, etc, these benches range in price from approximately 500EUR to 1500EUR. In the happy outcome that more money is collected than can be used for the memorial bench, the remaining funds will be given to a charity/"stichting" of Jana’s choice.

We will share the funds with Jana following her Defence on 8 May 2025, and organise the installation of the bench thereafter.
