Petra Hindle (Memorial Bench Fund)

As you all know Our Beautiful Warrior Petra recently lost her battle to Cancer.

instead of having flowers and tributes at Petra’s cremation ceremony, we as a family have decided to start a fund to pay for and commission a memorial Bench for the future Queen Elizabeth Hospital. In addition to this, funds dependant we would like to donate to the hospital MacMillan department some much needed everyday items that we found that cancer patients need.

we as a family know it is a big ask in the current day to day living crisis, but we have found that on top of the devastation of being diagnosed, the cost of such a diagnosis is an enormous burden on families and those living with the condition.

both petra and I always preferred to donate directly to charity’s so that the money would actually go to those that needed it and not into the pockets of those at the top.
