Peru Community Aid Project - Thomas Emery

Hi, I’m Thomas! I’m fundraising for a very special and memorable trip to Peru, where I’ll be working on a community project in the Cuzco region. This will help improve the lives of local people, some of whom live in desperate conditions due to a lack of resources. I’ll also get to embark on some once-in-a-lifetime experiences, like hiking Inca Trails and visiting one of the 7 wonders of the world - Machu Picchu.

On this trip, we’ll be getting involved with the community, running activities for local children, and learning all about Peru’s history and culture from a perspective not often shared with tourists. Not only is this journey going to be an unforgettable experience, but it will also have a meaningful impact on the communities we support. More details about exactly what the community project entails will be shared closer to the departure date, when communication has been made with locals to determine the most beneficial support. I will also be providing frequent status updates when out in the field with photos and notes on progress.
