PERIOD Atlanta Menstrual Product Drive

Tax deductible
Hello everyone! My name is Sophie Lee, and I am a student from North Gwinnett High School, the most economically affluent high school in Gwinnett County. I am fortunate to have never experienced menstrual poverty first-hand, an issue that members of my community may find unfamiliar. I am dedicated to giving back to the community of Greater Atlanta that shaped me to become the person I am today, and organizations such as the Period Movement provide the resources we need to address the natural needs of all menstruators.

Before the COVID-19 outbreak, one in four menstruating individuals struggled to afford enough period products to keep themselves clean and healthy and many community-based period supply programs had to stretch limited resources to meet the need of the clients they serve. Without adequate access to menstrual supplies, menstruators may have to use products for longer or may be forced to use alternative materials such as paper towels or socks.

PERIOD Atlanta wants to give back to the community of greater Atlanta and provide menstrual products for those who may be in need during this time. Your support will help purchase and distribute menstrual products to community organizations in Atlanta and beyond. We are also accepting physical donations of menstrual products --- please email [email redacted] for more information. Thank you for your support; every dollar makes a difference. Because periods don't stop for pandemics.
