Nashville People's Mural Project

The goal of The People's Mural Project is to create powerful, community-minded murals at low or no cost to the business owners or individuals lending their walls to the movement. These murals will speak to locals and tourists alike, showing them that Southern states are not a lost cause in the fight for social change.

As the project grows, the design process for these murals will include community meetings and partnerships with nonprofit organizations that are doing the work to create positive change in our city.

Operating with a pay-what-you-can model comes from a core belief in our city's need for more inclusive social programs and mutual aid, and at the same time creates more opportunities to get our messaging out in the open. Funds donated will go toward the cost of materials, which averages around $400-$700 per mural.
