People for Moms & Caregivers of Lake Street

My name is Cori and I am a mom living in south Minneapolis. I am raising money & supplies in support of moms and caregivers affected by the Minneapolis riots. Many people living near the riots are in need of supplies, especially caregivers of small children. Many of these people have lost access to storefronts or transportation that help them get supplies for the care of small children. We are gathering funds to purchase diapers, wipes, baby food and formula for these families in need and donating all items to local shelters and non-profits (listed below).

We started raising money on 5/30 and have made our first delivery as of 6/1 to People Serving People in downtown Minneapolis. Thank you for your support and donation! We will continue to update everyone on our next deliveries.

2) Your relationship or contact to the parties you're raising funds for: This fundraiser is dedicated to helping moms and caregivers in need of supplies in the areas most affected by the riots through local non-profits and shelters. Our contact at People Serving People is Michele Whitney and our contact at Division of Indian Work is Ashley Zukowski.

3) How the funds will be spent (be as specific as possible): All funds are being spent on baby supplies, including: diapers, wipes and formula.

4) Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the fundraiser to the person that they're intended for: funds are withdrawn and spent on baby supplies listed in #3.  All formula, diapers and wipes are being delivered to People Serving People and the Division of Indian Work.
