Pei & Pals Saved 6 dogs in 1 day - now the vet work starts!

Pei & Pals Animal Rescue Inc (Formally Shar Pei Rescue Qld & Precious Paws Animal Rescue) were asked to help 6 dogs in urgent need of rescue, or they would ALL be put to sleep. We didn't think twice and set about helping, but now we need help to cover the costs for their vet work and what's worse, one is pregnant. We knew we had no choice but to help - These 6 needed a miracle!

These dogs came into carer on Saturday after planning for almost 3 weeks. We had a volunteer travel from Toowoomba down to Western NSW to collect them and get them back to Brisbane where 6 carers were waiting patiently for their arrival... at 6.30 last night the long journey was over for them and a new one starts.

Sunday they are all adjusting to a life they are not familiar with - a warm place to sleep (Beats sleeping in an old car out the back), flea/tick and wormer medication, a bath and lots of love and cuddles.

These dogs range from 5 months old to 2 years old, with the older dogs just used for breeding, this is so so sad.

We urgently need help to cover the vet work that these dogs will need - Desex, vaccinations, entropion (eye operation) for at least 2 of them and this is what we know so far not to mention the pregnant girl. This money won't cover it all, but it will sure help.
